Vancouver, British Columbia — September 16, 2026 — Mineral Exploration Corp. (the “Company” or “Mineral Exploration”) is pleased to announce the completion of its maiden diamond drilling program at the Klondike Summit Gold Project, located in the Dawson Mining District of Yukon, approximately 35 kilometres east of Dawson City.
The Company completed 2,140 metres of drilling in 10 holes, exceeding the approximately 2,000 metres outlined in its initial exploration plan. The program tested three priority target areas selected through the integration of geological mapping, soil geochemistry and ground geophysical surveys.
With drilling complete, the Company’s focus is shifting to assay results and interpretation of the geological information collected during the program. The work is intended to help assess the project’s exploration potential and guide decisions on subsequent exploration.
“Completing our first drill program is an important step in advancing Klondike Summit from surface targeting to an assessment informed by drilling,” said Thomas Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our next priority is to evaluate the assays alongside the geological information collected by our team. That work will help us determine where further exploration may be warranted and shape our plans for the next field season.”
The maiden program followed the ground induced polarization and magnetic survey work announced earlier in 2026. Those datasets, together with geological mapping and soil geochemistry, were used to select drill locations and investigate the subsurface continuation of priority exploration targets.
Drill core observations are being incorporated into the Company’s geological model. These observations are preliminary and do not establish gold grades, economic significance or the continuity of mineralization. No assay results are being reported in this release.
The Company expects to provide a further update once sufficient assay results have been received, reviewed and interpreted.
